Snow in the Three Acre Wood - Woodstock, Georgia

My first snow in the Three Acre Woods - what an opportunity to discover that it is cold tending to my mini farm and the mini farm animals in cold weather! - They did great. Worst of it was frozen water which was easily remedied. The last time it got really cold here I had gone to Tractor's Supply to see about heat for the chickens and the salesperson told me it wasn't necessary, that the people who bought them really were just making themselves feel better. He said that in our area it's not necessary, so I took him at his word that time, and this and the chickens are fine, as are the goats. The brown goats, neutered males, are Nigerian dwarf goats and the cute white female, Rosemary is an African Pygmy. I had originally named the males something else but it was quickly determined that Beavis and Butthead were more appropriate descriptions!

It was also fun to walk the property to look for opportunities to take some photos - and here they are. I hope you enjoy them!
